Slow Cooker Apple Butter

So, my 6 year old is totally obsessed with apple butter. That’s how I know that she is my child! She literally gets giddy when she gets to have some apple butter.

So, when she decided to start making some goodies to sell at the farmer’s market, I suggested that we make some apple butter, and she was definitely on board!

I personally love making the slow cooker apple butter because it makes the house smells AMAZING all day! Plus, it’s super easy to make! Even my 6 year old can do it! 😉

Apparently, apple butter is a southern thing, so let me take you to the dark side! Apple butter is basically used like a jelly- it’s SO good on biscuits with butter. Some people put it on sweet potatoes, toast, etc. I prefer it over jelly!

Even though the names are similar, apple butter and applesauce are not the same. Apple butter is typically darker and sweeter.
