Exploring the Nashville Zoo

Before school started back and our schedules were packed again, I took the girls for a trip to the Nashville Zoo for a “girls day.” As usual, the Nashville zoo didn’t disappoint! This time we checked out all of the extra’s and Peyton wasn’t scared a bit to ride the Soaring Eagle Zip Line (I thought she might get up there and change her mind, but she absolutely loved it!).

My favorite attraction at the Nashville zoo is the Critter Encounters, where you get to pet and hang out with goats, alpacas and even some tortoises. It’s always entertaining to see the little one’s faces when the goats move around!

Harpers favorite part of the zoo (besides the Dip’n’Dots- as seen in the video), was the Wilderness Express train ride! She was tickled and it was a nice break from the walking for me!

Peyton also enjoyed several rides on the Wild Animal Carousel, where we took some great pictures.

I highly recommend the Nashville Zoo! With so much to do, you can see and explore something different every time! Check out our video from our last visit and click here to learn more about becoming a member or hosting a birthday party there!

  1. I love the zoo too! Haven’t been to the Nashville zoo yet but hope to travel to Tennessee! I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to visit 43 states! Sad to say, Tenesee, Lousiana, Hawaii, Alaska and the Dakotas left!!! Glad to see your beautiful children and you having a wonderful day!!!! Thanks for sharing!
