So, the other night, I literally asked my husband about 10 times, “what do you want for dinner?”
I’m not sure why, but figuring out what to cook for dinner lately has been a drag, even though I likely have 3 of every ingredient that I need. #MomProblems
But, a friend referred me to the $5 Meal Plan and I’m psyched to try it out!
There are two ways to use $5 Meal Plan:
Use the pre-made weekly meal plan and shopping list,
Use the fancy drag and drop Meal Plan Builder.
Most of you already know that I follow a Ketogenic diet, so I’m going to use the drag and drop meal planner.
Per the $5 Meal Plan website:
Each week, your meal plan will arrive in your inbox on Friday at 11 AM Eastern.
The meal includes a menu and a shopping list.
The menu will include:
- Five dinner entrees with sides – Each week we’ll include one freezer friendly, one slow cooker, and one 20-minute.
- We will also include one lunch and one breakfast, plus,
- A random goodie each week – sometimes it’ll be a dessert, sometimes a beverage, and sometimes it’ll be a snack (sometimes more than one!) – Treat yourself to something fun!
And, there’s a Facebook group!
Share ideas, opinions, and fun stories with your fellow meal planners on our private Facebook group!
The Facebook Group is included in your membership absolutely free and you get lifetimeaccess. Should you decide that $5 Meal Plan is not for you, we will not ask you to leave the group. We think you’ll become friends with other $5 Meal Planners and we wouldn’t want to get in the way of that.
Needless to say, I signed up & I’m so excited to try it out! They’re also offering a 14 day free trial, but let’s be real, $5 a week? That is so worth it!
